Step-by-Step: Your Shore Dive at Nemo Reef

  1. Check-in & Health Form – Meet at Nemo Reef; complete registration & medical questionnaire.

  2. Safety Briefing – Learn basics: breathing, hand signals, equalization, ear safety.

  3. Gear Fitting – Wetsuit, mask, fins, BCD, regulator; buoyancy check on shore.

  4. Shallow-Water Practice – Practice breathing and regulator recovery at waist/chest-deep water.

  5. Shore Entry & Descent – Slow guided descent along the sandy bottom; equalize frequently.

  6. Guided Reef Tour – Explore Nemo Reef Havelock corals, clownfish, damselfish, butterflyfish, parrotfish; turtle sightings are occasional.

  7. Safety Stop – 3 minutes around 5 meters; calm ascent with instructor.

  8. Debrief & Refresh – Remove gear, review marine life spotted; photos/video (if included).

Step-by-Step: Your Boat Dive in Havelock

  1. Check-in & Registration – Meet at the dive center; complete health form & waiver.

  2. Pre-Dive Briefing – Learn dive plan, hand signals, safety rules, and boat protocols.

  3. Gear Fitting – Wetsuit, fins, mask, BCD, regulator, tank; buddy check before boarding.

  4. Boat Transfer – Cruise to the dive site; enjoy scenic views and a safety orientation.

  5. Final Check & Entry – On-site briefing, buddy checks, then backward roll/ladder entry.

  6. Guided Descent – Controlled descent with equalization along a rope or reference line.
